I have a 1998 Bordeaux that was bottled with a commemorative 2000 gold label for the Millennium. I'm considering opening it for New Years 2010 -- but I suspect it should have been consumed a decade ago. This is probably one instance where the pay-off for waiting is less than for not waiting.

I can identify with procrastinating pleasure. We have several bottles of wine that we have kept saving forever.
