“Harry Reid: “Under ObamaCare, my insurance costs me about $4,500 more than it did before.””

And yet he’s not in favor of repeal.

“Harry Reid: I’m not the only one to exempt “some of my staff from having to buy insurance through the law’s new exchanges.”

Don’t look at me, we’re all doing it!

  3. Tom G. says:

“Zeke Emanuel: If you like your doctor, you can pay more.”

What a PR nightmare. This statement implies you will lose your doctor UNLESS you pay more.

  4. Bob Hertz says:

The coming Medicaid cost explosion is somewhat exaggerated.

Many of the persons on Medicaid are elderly and poor and disabled.
This is not a great thing and there are some real costs…..

still, I would like to see some real numbers of how many Americans under age 65 and able to work are on Medicaid. The number is still disturbing but I suspect it is much smaller than 60 million.

    As for Harry Reid:

It is interesting why his insurance costs more now.

It is because his old Congressional plan did not factor age into premiums.

The ACA does factor it in.

This rather ugly fact will inhibit some businesses from just dumpting their old employees onto the exchanges.
