Entering a hospital? You probably need an advocate.

Medicare is paying patients up to $1,157 to go to the “right” hospital.

Guess who has not had a real pay increase over the past 100 years? Congress.

    The idea of Medicare allowing the patient to share in the financial gains for choosing more efficient care is intriguing. You wonder why all insurers don’t do that. If they would do it for out-of-country medical care we would save billions.
