The Max Baucus plan would impose new taxes on medical device manufacturers of $40 billion over 10 years. That’s more than the industry’s venture capital investment.

Should we dilute our H1N1 vaccine so that we can share more of it with the rest of the world? WHO says “yes.”

    There is a way to increase the number of people protected by a given number of flu vaccine doses by diluting the doses using an adjuvant. However, many people worry about introducing more additives to vaccines. The CDC needs to ensure the health of the American people is their highest priority before agreeing to give away vaccine doses.
