Medicare Advantage competes with Medicare supplemental policies like those sold by AARP.

Large groups of people have preferred Medicare Advantage plans to Medicare supplemental policies.

Therefore it makes good business sense for rent seekers like AARP to seek to eliminate Medicare Advantage. To paraphrase, with sarcasm intended, "what's good for AARP is good for America" and if people disagree they don't know what is good for them.

Dear everyone,
My part D plan IS AARP Medicare RX Preferred. What do you mean about them selling us out? I "Hate Obama's Death Plan especially because I'm disabled and middle aged. I know he? has no use for the likes of me. I'm glad Jesus is my Savior because although I know HE'S in control sometimes I still get a little scared.

I assume that is not a misprint. Almost two-thirds of the members of Medicare Advantage plans are going to lose their coverage?
