The article says that among 52 year old women at risk, 19 out of 1,000 women would develop breast cancer. If those women took tamoxifen, 9 of them would avoid breast cancer.

However, the drug wuld be expected to cause 21 additional cases of endometrial cancer, 21 would develop blood clots, 31 would develop cataracts, and 12 would develop sexual problems.

Irrational?
