  1. Matthew says:

Interesting how in a year, Oregon exchange goes from being the darling of ObamaCare, to giving up and going to the Federal exchange.

  2. James M. says:

It looks like regardless if its the state or federal exchange, Oregonians are struggling with Obamacare.

    • Thomas says:

It is a shame that they had to dump $250 million into it before realizing it.

      • Bill B. says:

At least they didn’t dump $80 million more and decided to join the federal exchange.

        • Jay says:

Not like that is helping Oregonians much more. When you turn to the federal run exchanges, you know they are desperate.

  3. Buddy says:

“For example, five of the 16 health insurance companies currently doing business in the state don’t have the computer interface needed to work with the federal exchange.”

Well, it’s not like the Federal exchanges are working much better for Oregon.

    • Walter Q. says:

Sounds like pen and paper worked better than both online exchanges. New fangled technology isn’t always better than the tried and true methods.

  4. Andrew says:

“Oregon may be the White House’s favorite health exchange”

This was during the rosy period before the exchanges opened and became a massive failure.

  5. J. Heckman says:

Oregon only has Portland..Apparently it has no capability of providing such a enormous set of subsides.
