Since PELOSI AND REID ARE SO DETERMINED TO RAM THIS PLAN OF THEIRS DOWN OUR THROATS WHY DON'T THEY GIVE UP THEIR CADILLAC COVERAGE AND TRY OURS ON FOR SIZE?

I AM QUITE SATISFIED WITH WHAT I HAVE AND don't need the likes of them telling me what's good for me or the rest of the citizens!

If Congress passes it, our only hope is for a new president to be elected in 2012 and a repeal of it immediately upon taking office.

The amount of money it is going to take doesn'tt even make sense. Fix the part that needs fixing and leave the rest alone.

<blockquote>"Less than one in five understand that the reforms in the bill won’t go into effect for more than 3½ years, if it passes."</blockquote>

...But the 10-year cost window starts immediately, right?

At least it offers an after-the-fact review period. Maybe some of the crazier parts will end up being repealed before they take effect.

Let me get this straight. We're going to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president that also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's nearly broke. What could possibly go wrong?

This proves once again that the voters are much better informed than their representatives in Congress.

The most amazing thing about these poll results is that even in the face of them the Senate leadership expects to get every single Democrat in the Senate to vote for this stuff.
